Our Unique Approach
Our program is grounded in the Trauma-Informed Desistance Supervision (TIDES) model, which emphasizes self-regulation, identity development, resilience, and strong social support as key drivers of lasting change.
We utilize a condensed, evidence-based risk assessment at intake and monthly throughout service delivery to identify dynamic, stable, acute, and protective factors, allowing services to be responsive to each individual’s evolving needs.
This approach is supported by Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) and Decision Points, both evidence-based cognitive-behavioral interventions that strengthen decision-making and moral reasoning. MRT is delivered through a structured 16-step group process by certified facilitators and focuses on examining beliefs, behaviors, relationships, and identity, while promoting personal accountability and healthier choices.
Research consistently shows that as participants advance through MRT steps, moral reasoning improves and recidivism rates decrease, reinforcing our commitment to effective, recovery-oriented outcomes.
